Temporary Administrative Assistant

Vulcan County requires an Administrative Assistant to provide reception, clerical and general administrative support for all departments. This is a temporary full-time position commencing immediately and ending approximately December 31st, 2013.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma supplemented with post secondary training related to office administration or business administration. A minimum of two years related work experience in a computerized office environment is required. The position demands proven secretarial/administrative experience, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential as well as internet browsers and email. Employment experience in a municipal or local government environment is an asset.
